Son Gohan is the son of Son Goku(Kakarrott) and Chichi as well as the grandson of Bardock and Ox King and the older brother of Goten. He ironically marries Satan Videl, the daughter of Hercule who took Gohan's credit for defeating Cell, and together they had Pan. Although he is only half Saiyan, he quickly obtains the levels of both Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2 at the age of 11 after training in the room of spirits and time with his father before the Cell games. When he was younger he also trained under Piccolo.
Also known as the Golden Fighter and the Great Saiyaman, Gohan is forced to study hard by his mother throughout his teenage years at home until he's enrolled at Orange Star High where he meets Videl. His hard study habits later lead him to achieve his mother's dream for him of becoming a scholar. In a way, this is a shame because he probably has the most potential for pushing his power to greater limits than any other member of the Z gang, but instead he has chosen a life revolved around studying.
Many people say that Gohan is a big geek, and it's true, but I have a thing for geeks with good personalities (or hot physiques). That's why I like um. He's also very noble and I adore that. I personally blame Chichi for making him a dork because she never let him out of the house for long or even interact much with other kids. It's also a big plus that when he's in his later teens he's pretty darn hot.
